Greetings! I am an illustrator currently based in Stratford, Connecticut. Graduating in May of 2005 with a BFA in Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, I have now spent two years in the professional world of illustration, working for clients such as Yankee Magazine, The Democrat and Chronicle (Rochester, NY), Cobblestone Magazine and 5th Epoch Publishing. I continue to produce work and hopefully, increase the size of my client list.

As a high school student, I studied under local artist Bob Boroski, during which time I gained proficiency in drawing and the use of various color mediums, including colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints. While at RIT, I sharpened my fine art style and was honored when my work was chosen for display in the 2003 and 2005 Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Competition and the 2004 Spring Issue of CMYK magazine. In the fall of my senior year, I was granted a student internship with the graphics department of Rochester's city newspaper, the Democrat and Chronicle. I was called back in the spring as a temporary staff artist, and gained proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Freehand. In addition, I was able to use my hands-on skills to create illustrations for the weekend publications.

An active athlete and runner, I ran varsity cross-country and track for RIT, and in November of 2004, ran a continuous Coast-to-Coast relay from San Diego, CA to Annapolis, MD. The trek took my seventeen teammates involved 12 days, 3 hours and 48 minutes. I have recently written a book with my teammates about the adventure. You can find more information about the book here.
